We are seeking an Accountant to join our dynamic team, aimed at providing robust financial support to our business operations. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining accounting systems, collaborating with external accountants, ensuring financial control and efficiency, and supporting treasury management.This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding team with ambitious objectives, where you can acquire invaluable experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a solid accounting system suitable for complex financial operations, including fiat-to-crypto exchange.
• Collaborate with external accountants in other jurisdictions to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Build and manage internal accounting and financial reporting systems.
• Ensure proper financial control, monitoring, and treasury management processes.
• Analyse financial performance, liquidity, and cash flow to ensure operational efficiency.
• Engage in the financial strategy and forecasting for the company’s growth and expansion.
• Assist the finance team with day-to-day operations, though you will not be required to directly participate in declaration submissions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in building and managing accounting systems for companies providing financial services, including cryptocurrency transactions.
• Experience working with accounting regulations in Latvia, Europe, and non-European countries.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Academical background in finance/accounting.(minimum experience 5 years).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS).
• Accuracy and attention to details, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to present and clearly articulate results.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with the flexibility to handle intense workloads when necessary.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-border teams and external accountants.

• Experience in fintech/payments industries.
• Understanding of cryptocurrency transactions.
